now. that i have yet to clear my computer of last sems stuff [as in sorting them into folders and hiding them] so they dont remind me of what a hectic sem the last sem was. but surprisingly much better interms of the resuls that i got? if that is what it takes to get an up in the gpa. i think its really not very worth it. maybe just for one more semester. one. then by year 4, it be safer cos the gpa wouldnt move that that much either way alr.. so. yes. one more sem.
this sem is like the last sem, with lecturers that i dont exactl like and vice versa. which is bad for me. hah
4 day week, but i technically not counted cos the free day is wednesday. useless day. unless for training. but if its thursday still can go mambo or something.. if its monday or friday free then it would be the best. but like damn fuckin suay, it must be a wednesday again.
my friday was supposed to be free lor... but the other tutorial group for that module clashes with my monday's classes! grr..
ok back to japan.
yes yes
ok maybe not back to japan... cos i was just discussing europe with a friend that replied to me call for help! aha
she spent 2 months there. i suspect she print money. so..
i am excited. yes. hoo!
so many places so little time and money. :(
ok day 6 tokyo - disneySEA!
ok maybe nother day i wanna check air tickets.
any one reading this have been to europe? backpacking.. or know of anyone that can help me?

"Ultimately, money is always there for you to earn. Most importantly, you have to enjoy what you are doing at your work."

that's my dad above i spotted at such an unearthly hour.
how adorable of him to plug his laptop onto the 42" tv
that we just got recently to use as his computer screen.
seriously, is it even necessary?
oh, he's currently chatting with this adopted daughter of age 23
(and i got to know of the age cos of their gmail conversation which is
evidently visible at the corner)
from god-knows-where and i am least interested in knowing of her existence,
and my parents did mention to me of her some time back.
seriously, why the need of this "daughter"?

Will the vanilla last longer than the green tea?
first post of the new year.
just got up, took panadol and pi pa gao again. sick on new years eve. sian lor..
anyway i just happened to be sittign in front of the tv and there's this retelecast of the countdown part of last night.
and there was this segment that was performed by the newly crowned singapore idol. not like i want to blog about this as my first post. and not that sezairi is not good or anything. but when he started singing, i was like ok, not bad... then sylvia made her entrance... it was nice. like so much better than him. then it kinda made me wonder why did he win.. if its talent we're voting for then i think sylvia deserved it more.
reminded me of some comments some netizens posted on the net sometime ago about the singapore idol being another male, and the emphasis on the first ever female idols. that comment box attracted loads of attention from feminist and racists. which was kinda entertaining to read. hahha but what caught my attention was the comment made my some someone that malays comprises of only 20percent of the population. and that even if they banded together sezairi wouldnt win. maybe its true that the malays band together despite good or bad times and they would come together, even when they do down they would try to drag others along as well. haha but with that being said, i htink people have better things to do rather than vote for people that are not their friends. so what if they are idols? they dont exactly concern me. if i were to be proud of our idol, i would want someone that can sing better regardless of the person being original. how many singers write their own songs? how many singers are doing covers of other singers? sylvia definatly sounds better vocally. maybe she lacks the righer range. but she sure sounds fine! like way better than him.
nah hady mirza was not bad. sezairi is kinda so so. sigh. how disappointing.
anyway. new year resolution, is that i want to:
sign up for Aviva half iron man.
complete the half iron man and return alive.
join singapore biathlon 2010
learn butterfly and do it 50 or 100 fly within a respectable timing.
continue to up my gpa little by little, and not drop. dont need to hit a 4.0 but not fall any more... hahhaha
try to make sure that my europe trip will happen!
wishes:
every one good health / fortune!
happy-ness
have a great year ahead people!

Painting makes me happy...
and let's keep that timer going.

I painted the Rain today,
and that to have accompaniment of my friends,
made the painting session yet another enjoyable one.
Thanks Sebby for the watercolour moleskine and it was a good surprise.

above is how my room looks like before it is thrashed. my room is not done yet. i still need these following items to complete the room:
1) floor rug
2) lamp/lighting
3) table clock
4) quilt
5) curtains
and that will cost me around $300+ more. i'm super broke now...
( After - preview )

i have selected several of the photo prints i did in my poly days for this year's xmas cards. these prints are personally snapped and developed by myself - yea, the old school times of the dark room with dimly lit red lights and that to soak the prints into those chemicals so the images on the prints will appear.
i have also made the envelope myself, and if you have yet realize... the opening is a xmas tree that is halved, and that to seal the envelope is to slot in one of the "sharp edges".
this year's xmas party is a blast. i thoroughly enjoyed myself. thank you all!
